There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. A storm system will affect the region tonight into Wednesday. While mostly rain is expected, moderate snowfall may occur across the higher terrain of the southern Green Mountains, especially later Wednesday into Thursday. A Winter Weather Advisory may be needed if confidence increases. Lake effect snow is expected to develop Wednesday Night continuing into much of the upcoming weekend, which could bring light to moderate snow to portions of the central Mohawk Valley and southern Green Mountains. In addition, gusty west to northwest winds will develop Wednesday night into Thursday. Gusts of 35 to 45 mph are likely.
