The strongest storms could produce wind gusts to around 45 mph, small hail and brief heavy rain. An isolated severe storms can`t be ruled out. Later tonight, additional thunderstorm activity is expected after midnight across north-central and far northeast WI. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds, small hail and heavy rainfall. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday There is a Slight Risk of severe thunderstorms on Wednesday south of a Wausaukee to Merrill line, with a Marginal Risk of severe storms to the north (except most of Vilas County). Scattered thunderstorms will be ongoing Wednesday morning across northern Wisconsin. Day time heating combined with a weak cold front slowly sagging southward on Wednesday will likely result in the development of strong or severe storms throughout the day into the early evening. Strong/damaging winds is the primary risk, although large hail and an isolated tornado are also possible. Heavy rainfall is likely at times on Wednesday into Wednesday night, resulting the risk of flash flooding. Rainfall rates as high as 1-3" per hour could create urban flooding, ponding of water on roadways and rising water levels in ditches, creeks and rivers. There is a chance of thunderstorms on Thursday. Severe weather is not expected at this time. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
