Motorists should use caution. There is a small chance of thunderstorms over eastern Wisconsin this evening. No severe weather is expected. Elevated water levels continue along many rivers, along with minor flooding on the Wolf River. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday Periods of heavy rainfall and possible thunderstorms are expected later in the weekend through early next week. Strong to severe thunderstorms could occur Monday afternoon and evening. Elevated water levels will continue along many rivers, with minor flooding at a few locations. Runoff from heavy rainfall and snow melt from the Upper Peninsula could cause river flooding to become more widespread and significant during the early to mid part of next week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotters are requested to report any river flooding to the National Weather Service in Green Bay. $$

A light wintry mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain will gradually change over to rain, then end this morning. A thin coating of snow or sleet is expected before the mix changes to rain. A light glaze of ice will also be possible in parts of central, north central and far northeast Wisconsin, generally northwest of the Fox Valley. As road temperatures remain warm, it is likely that icing will be confined to elevated surfaces, such as bridges and overpasses. Morning commuters should be prepared for a few slippery spots, but conditions will quickly improve by mid-morning as temperatures warm well above freezing. $$ Kieckbusch
