Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches, with locally higher totals up to 5 inches possible along the Kettle Moraine. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. * WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Wisconsin. * WHEN...From 6 AM this morning to noon CST today. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the Thursday morning commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. In addition, strong winds will help to reduce the visibility and may cause broken tree limbs and power outages.
