Hazardous Weather Outlook National Weather Service Green Bay WI 153 PM CDT Tue Jul 7 2026 WIZ005-010>013-018>022-030-031-035>040-045-048>050-073-074-081900- Vilas-Oneida-Forest-Florence-Northern Marinette County-Lincoln- Langlade-Menominee-Northern Oconto County-Door-Marathon-Shawano- Wood-Portage-Waupaca-Outagamie-Brown-Kewaunee-Waushara-Winnebago- Calumet-Manitowoc-Southern Marinette County- Southern Oconto County- 153 PM CDT Tue Jul 7 2026 This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast Wisconsin. .DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight Widely scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon across parts of north- central and far northeast WI, capable of producing gusty winds and heavy downpours. Another round of thunderstorms is expected late tonight, which could bring brief gusty winds and small hail. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Scattered thunderstorms will be ongoing Wednesday morning. Locally heavy downpours will be possible, but severe weather is not expected. Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible on Wednesday afternoon and evening, mainly across central and east-central Wisconsin. Strong/damaging winds is the primary risk, although large hail and an isolated tornado are also possible. Favorable conditions for localized flash flooding will exist on Wednesday and Wednesday night. Rainfall rates as high as 1-3" per hour could create urban flooding, ponding of water on roadways, and rising water levels in ditches, creeks and rivers. There is a chance of thunderstorms on Thursday. Severe weather is not expected at this time. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotters are requested to report any hail or wind gusts over 40 mph this afternoon. Spotter activation is likely Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday night. $$
