The fog will likely be limited to shoreline areas and river valleys within a few miles of shore. This will impact MN-61 and may eventually reach the Twin Ports. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday An impactful winter storm will move across the Upper Midwest late Tuesday through early Thursday. This system will be bringing an initial wintry mix and then the potential for heavy, wet snowfall along with strong winds. Near-blizzard conditions are possible along the North Shore. Hazardous travel impacts are expected. Winter Storm Watches are in effect for much of the region. A second system Thursday night into Friday could bring another round of snow and potential travel problems late this week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotters are requested to report precipitation type, and measurements of precipitation, snow, or ice accumulations tonight and Monday morning to the National Weather Service. There is a 40 to 80 percent chance for total snow accumulations in excess of 6 inches in northern Douglas and Bayfield Counties. There is also a 20 to 60 percent chance for at least a glaze of ice accumulations. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph. * WHERE...Bayfield and Douglas Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Red Cliff Band.
