Total snow accumulations between 9 and 18 inches except between 12 and 20 inches for northern Bayfield County. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. * WHERE...Bayfield and Douglas Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Red Cliff Band. Other locations including the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. * WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to midnight CST Wednesday Night. * IMPACTS...Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A corridor of locally higher snowfall amounts are possible somewhere in the watch area. Rain will change to snow through the day today across northeast Minnesota, with rain continuing through the day for northwest Wisconsin before changing to snow this evening. A band of heavy snow is expected this evening into Wednesday for much of the area with snowfall rates of more than 1 inch per hour. Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories are in effect. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Snow will taper off from west to east Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday night.
