Above normal, possibly record high, temperatures continue east of the Divide and southern portions. Southwest winds, with gusts of 30 to 40 mph, will be occur over the Wind Corridor (eastern Sweetwater County to southern Johnson County) and the east slopes of the Wind River, Absaroka and Bighorn Mountains. Locally higher gusts up to 55 mph possible in the more wind prone locations. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Christmas Eve through Monday. Christmas Eve...Above normal, possibly record high, temperatures continue east of the Divide and southern portions. Southwest winds, with gusts of 40 to 50 mph, will be occur over the Wind Corridor and the east slopes of the Wind River, Absaroka and Bighorn Mountains. Locally higher gusts up to 65 mph possible in the more wind prone locations. Christmas Eve Night and Christmas Day...Valley rain and mountain snow above 8000ft over western portions. Rainfall amounts of 0.40 to 0.70" and snowfall amounts of 8 to 16 inches. Wind gusts around 60 mph from South Pass to portions of Natrona County including the Casper area. Above normal, temperatures will remain possible for areas east of the Divide. Friday...Colder temperatures returning, with rain changing over to snow late Thursday night/early Friday morning.
