Nov 16, 2019 (Video below) - A low pressure system with subtropical moisture and snow levels running 8,500 to near 9,000 feet (below the base elevations of the Snowbowl and Sunrise Mountain), is expected to be dragged northeast across the state on Tuesday and into Wednesday, with a lot of moisture, and upper level dynamics.

Snow accumulation for the Kingfisher Heli and Revelstoke Mountain Resort region through tonight, most accumulation above Revelstoke Resort base elevation, but all of the Heli terrain will see snow, as has been the case since it started piling up in late September.

Do you want to get some serious powder? Head to the Italian, southern French, Swiss, and southern Austrian Alps regions! Strong and cold low pressure has set up across the region, and the French/ Italian Alps (especially, snow for all though) are getting hit with some heavy snow as of last night, not sure on totals yet, but some clearing is expected today (Friday), though periods of snow are still expected due to lingering low pressure.

Wednesday morning October 30th, we are looking at the coldest temperatures ever recorded across the intermountain west this morning, as cold as -30f around Yellowstone Lake and near Big Piney in western Wyoming, -20 to -25 across portions of western Montana, and with the snow clearing out, its near zero in Aspen this morning with clouds and lingering snow, and -10 to -15 in colder Colorado valleys mainly north of the I-70 where clouds are clearing out, and -13 up on Berthoud Pass at 12,500 feet, with winds gusting to 25mph (wow, COLD).
